WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBS 12) — A new study shows American citizens trust Dr. Anthony Fauci more than they do President Donald Trump or their own governors when it comes to coronavirus information.
The study was conducted by the Center for the Digital Future at the USC Anneberg School for Communication and Journalism and the Interactive Advertising Bureau.
Fauci received 45% of the vote, while state governors received 35% and Trump with 20%.
According to USA Today, the results from the study are based on an online survey conducted during the week of April 6, using a sample of 1,000 respondents ages 18 and older from all 50 states and the District of Columbia from an online panel.
